HISTORY
Before the Conclave
✨ Adella was born to the noble house Trevelyan of the Free Marches, the youngest of four. She likely would have been expected to join the Chantry when she came of age, either as a Templar or a Cleric, but she showed magical potential at the age of eight. Her siblings helped her hide it until she was 10, when she got upset with their mother about 'expectations of a lady' and set the curtains on fire. She was sent to the Ostwick Circle promptly, and her mother and father effectively disowned and disavowed any connection to her. Her elder sister and two brothers kept in touch.
✨ The Ostwick Circle was a stifling, unimaginative place, but she felt more free there than she ever had as a noble. She found friends within the Circle, people who appreciated her sense of humor, and she made trouble and thrived within the oppressive walls.
✨ When the Mage-Templar War began, she had mixed feelings. The official stance of the Ostwick Circle was to remain stoutly neutral, and aside from a few deserters on either side, they all remained and conducted business as usual. Part of Adella wanted to join the rebellion, but she decided against it. Ultimately because when there was a small uprising within the Circle, Adella was nearly killed by a templar who had gone rogue of the demands of those in command and was attempting to 'quell the rebellion' by "culling the herd." She was protecting an apprentice from him when he struck her with his sword, resulting in the scar over her eye. The healers said she was lucky she didn't lose the eye itself.
✨ She was chosen along with several remaining mages as a delegate to the Conclave, partly because the First Enchanter was hoping her noble birth would give them some credibility as a voice of reason. She was coached extensively not to make an idiot of herself.
The Wrath of Heaven
✨ After accompanying Cassandra to the forward camp, she chooses to take the mountain pass, to see if the missing scouts can be saved.
✨ The result of the Conclave brings her no joy. She lost many friends that day, and was branded as the Herald of Andraste. She pretty much hates the definition and wastes a lot of time telling people to stop.
The Threat Remains
✨ She travels to the Hinterlands, speaking to Mother Giselle and then assisting people around the Crossroads, spreading word of the Inquisition as she goes
✨ In Val Royeaux she insists that she makes no claim to be the Herald of Andraste, is kind of pissed by Lord Seeker Lucius's actions.
✨ Recruits Sera, Recruits Vivienne
✨ Recruits Blackwall after returning from Val Royeaux, recruits the Iron Bull and the Chargers after speaking with Krem.
In Hushed Whispers
✨ Goes to Redcliffe after speaking with Fiona in Val Royeaux, is pretty damn pissed when she finds out about the Tevinters taking up residence. After speaking with Dorian, she decides she needs to help the mages.
✨ When meeting with Alexius in the castle to "negotiate" she doesn't bother with the pretense, calling him out for luring her into such an obvious trap.
✨ After being shunted a year into the future, Adella works with Dorian to free those who had been with them during the fake negotiations, and after finding Fiona they seek out Leliana.
✨ It breaks her heart to watch her friends give their lives to make sure that she and Dorian return to the past. She isn't funny or kind when they come out of the portal.
✨ When Alistair shows up to eject the mages from Redcliffe castle, Adella offers to allow them to join the Inquisition as allies, not prisoners. While this makes some unhappy, she insists that they can prove themselves worthy of the alliance she's giving them, that they should be given their freedom and if they can't handle it, restrictions can be imposed.
✨ when time comes that she can judge Alexius, she puts him to service for the Redcliffe mages, as much as she wants to kill him, he does not deserve to be released so easily.
In Your Heart Shall Burn
✨ After successfully closing the Breach with the help of the mages, Corypheus's attack on Haven reveals him as the Elder One, the real threat to the Inquisition.
✨ She manages to rescue Lysette, Segritt, Flissa, Adan, Minave, and Threnn.
✨ Her facedown with Corypheus went about as well as expected, although she escaped the collapse of Haven and made it to the encampment.
From the Ashes
✨ With the discovery of Skyhold, Adella is formally asked to lead the Inquisition, despite her status as a mage, and she accepts the mantle of the Inquisitor.
✨ Adella goes to speak with Hawke, Varric's friend. She learns more of Corypheus, and about what's happening to the Wardens.
Here Lies the Abyss
✨ Traveling to Crestwood, before seeking out Stroud, Adella drains the lake and closes the rift within, discovering the truth about what the Mayor of Crestwood did during the Blight.
✨ After discovering what the Tevinter Magister Erimond has been doing with the Warden mages, they travel to Adamant to fight, using many of the Inquisition's resources to breach the fortress.
✨ She is able to clear the 3 siege points on the battlements, giving the Inquisition's people a stronger foothold during the battle.
✨ During the fighting, Adella spares as many Grey Wardens as she can. She manages to talk with Clarel, and make the warden see how crazypants Erimond's idea is.
✨ After falling through the rift and being trapped in the Raw Fade, Adella learns the truth of what happened at the Conclave, recovering her memories with the help of the spirit of Justinia V.
✨ She finds all the Fears of the Dreamers.
✨ Stroud was left behind in the Fade, and Hawke returned to Thedas with Adella and crew.
✨ The Wardens were asked to help the Inquisition.
✨ Erimond was sentenced to Tranquility, Adella feeling that death was too easy (and clearly what he wanted.)
✨ Ser Ruth was escorted to the Deep Roads, accompanied by the Legion of the Dead.
Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts
✨ Didn't find all the caprice coins because seriously who has time for that
✨ DID manage to overhear all the ridiculous gossip
✨ She found all evidence to damn both Gaspard and Briala
✨ She chose to support Celene, as well as supporting a renewed alliance between the Empress and her former lover, Briala.
✨ She killed Florianne, but asked Celene to spare Gaspard, because enough death had occurred because of that night at the Winter Palace.
What Pride Had Wrought
✨ After approaching the Temple of Mythal, she does all the Elven Rituals to enter the temple.
✨ Adella agrees to work with Abelas and the sentinels, gaining speedy passage through the Temple and avoiding a lot of fighting Red Templars.
✨ Samson's armor was destroyed, he was subdued and taken to Skyhold for judgement (he was turned over to Kirkwall)
✨ Abelas is convinced to stand down, rather than trying to destroy the Well of Sorrows.
✨ Morrigan drinks from the well, gaining the elven will and memories.
The Final Piece
✨ Kieran goes through the eluvian, encountering Morrigan's mother, Flemeth. Adella and Morrigan follow
✨ Morrigan chooses to be in debt to Flemeth, aka Mythal, rather than sacrifice her son.
✨ Weird magic shit happens, they all leave, and Morrigan tells Adella she can give Corypheus's red lyrium dragon the smackdown whenever they face off against him.
Doom Upon the World
✨ Corypheus attempts to reopen the Breach at the ruined Temple of the Sacred Ashes. Most of the Inquisitions forces are still in the field, on their way back from the Arbor Wilds, so Adella and her team go alone.
✨ Morrigan as a dragon distracts Corypheus's dragon while Adella chases the darkspawn Magister around.
✨ After a lot of chasing, banter, and magic, Corypheus is destroyed.
✨ Everyone parties like it's 9:99.
✨ Leliana is eventually crowned Divine.
Inner Circle
Blackwall
✨ 8/10 Grey Warden Artifacts recovered
✨ Revelations completed.
✨ Blackwall is judged, and allowed back into the Inquisition, provided he atones for his past mistakes in sincerity.
Cassandra
✨ 5/5 Seeker Targets eliminated
✨ Promise of Destruction completed.
✨ Convinced Varric to write Cassandra another installment of his romance serial.
✨ Encouraged Cassandra to rebuild the Seekers.
Cole
✨ Encouraged Cole's curiosity, but not killing.
✨ Subjected to His Will completed.
✨ Cole is helped to become more "human."
Cullen ♡
✨ Began a romance with Cullen
✨ Encouraged him to resist taking lyrium

Solas
✨ Artifacty things get activated, stuff happens.

✨ The containment around the pride demon is destroyed, rather than killing it, freeing Solas's spirit friend, just before she dies.

Varric

✨ Doesn't blame Varric for silly stuff that happens, becomes his friend.
Vivienne

✨ Vivienne is given the actual snowy wyvern heart.
✨ Despite conflicting views on how the Circle should be maintained, Adella and Vivienne manage to get along fairly well.
